The Lorenzo family of retabuleiros use their artistic skills to bring to life a range of subjects with colourful beauty and wit. It all began with Lucas who 50 years ago began painting on masonite board. His charming religious scenes full of figures of saints , devils, angels and animals continue to influence his son and grandson today.

Playful figures such as jaguar pole dancers, Frida Kahlo-esque angels have been introduced. Abstract influences, mountain pastoral scenes, bright concentric dots make each and every retabulo a joy to look at.
